A history that has endured since 1905

The Countess de Presle, who bought one of the first automobiles at the beginning of the 20th century, felt the dehydration caused by the high speed and the absence of a windshield on her vehicle. She discussed this with one of her friends, the chemist Marcellin Berthelot, who created a moisturizing balm that she called Baume Automobile.
Thus the Maison Detaille was born in 1905.
The men’s and women’s eaux de toilette use a large proportion of natural components; they correspond to the classics, and are included in the great tradition of French perfumery.
