In a palace abandoned long ago, the young boy tiptoes up the marble staircase. Upon arriving on the top floor, he sneaks into a majestic suite. A bottle of perfume is sitting in the dusty night table.
Intrigued by the unlabeled bottle, he investigates. The apartment was occupied for a long time by an Indian princess. But there is nothing eastern about the perfume. It smells of lilac.
Where did it come from? Coty, Houbigant, Gabilla, Lenthéric?
Lilac perfumes, there were more than two hundred. All of them were created before he was born, but have disappeared for the most part. Was it designed expressly for the princess by one of the great houses based in Switzerland?

To prolong the magic of this discovery, Philippe Neirinck created La Parfumerie Moderne.
